The proposed plan
The East Ayrshire Local Development Plan 2 (LDP2) was adopted on 8 April 2024. The plan sets the framework for development and land use change over the next five years.
To support the implementation of the policies for the LDP2, we are preparing statutory supplementary guidance and non-statutory planning guidance. Seven documents of draft guidance have now been published for consultation below, and further documents will be available over the coming months.
We would like to know what our residents, communities and other interested parties think about the documents. All feedback will be used to help shape the finalised guidance documents before they are adopted, and then used to help determine relevant planning applications.
