Environmental Health officers carry out investigations in a wide variety of situations, including statutory nuisances, food safety, health and safety, infectious disease control, private sector housing, air quality and water quality.
In addition, the Council's Corporate Enforcement Unit, Pest Control Service and Dog Warden Service all fall within the remit of Environmental Health.
