The Affordable Housing Supply Programme (AHSP) from 2010 to 2021 has delivered new and acquired affordable homes across East Ayrshire.

Through partnership working with Registered Social Landlords in East Ayrshire, we are responding to the demand for Affordable Social Housing across all our communities.

Listed below are some of our completed sites.

West Donington Street, Darvel

This development within Darvel was completed in 2016 and offers 13 two and three-bedroom properties, to include two bungalows for older and ambulant disabled residents and one wheelchair accessible bungalow.

Ayr Road, Cumnock

This small scale development in Cumnock Town Centre has been designed with input from the Prince's Foundation for the Built Environment to develop a style that complements the nearby Knockroon development.

The site consists of ten two-bedroom bungalows for older and ambulant disabled residents and one two-bedroom wheelchair accessible bungalow. 

Old Irvine Road, Kilmarnock

This bespoke development in Kilmarnock Town Centre utilised the former Treesbank Nursery site.

The development consists of four, three apartment general needs family homes, two, three apartment older and ambulant bungalows and a four apartment family wheelchair property.

It offers high-end town centre living for social rent tenants.

Lilyhill Gardens, Kilmarnock

This award winning building offers residents a wide range of support needs and the opportunity to live independently in a state-of-the-art facility.

It consists of 13 self contained one-bedroom flats and an office base for care provider. It also includes a private garden area for residents and visitors.

Gilbert Burns Place, Mauchline

This development in the town of Mauchline enjoys stunning views towards the Isle of Arran and offers 10 two-bedroom bungalows for older and ambulant disabled residents.

Jamieson Court, Galston

This development within the Galston village area was completed in 2015.

It provides ten, three and four apartment properties with a mix of general needs houses, one bungalow for older and ambulant disabled residents and one wheelchair accessible bungalow.

Hearth Place, Cumnock

This development in the heart of Cumnock is a reconfiguration of seven two-bedroom bungalows. To provide a new build standard within the property footprint.

Cassilis Court, Dalrymple

The site within the village of Dalrymple offers 11 two-bedroom properties. The homes were completed July 2018 and the award winning development is now being enjoyed by our tenants

The properties  provide a mix of general needs houses, bungalows for older and ambulant disabled residents and one wheelchair accessible property.

Girvan Crescent, Newmilns

This project saw the reconfiguration of six one-bedroom flats in to three family sized three-bedroom houses in response to waiting list demand.

This reconfiguration completed in June 2018.

Carskeoch Drive, Patna

This development within the village of Patna offers a mixture of one to three-bedroom homes built for general needs, bungalows for older and ambulant disabled residents and wheelchair accessible bungalows.

There are 19 new social rented properties within the development and it was completed in October 2019.

Andrew Nisbet Place, Hurlford

This assisted living development provides 13 one-bedroom self contained flats as well as staff base for care provision.

The properties promote independent living for residents who have a wide range of support needs. Contained within the grounds is a private garden which residents assisted in designing.

The development was completed in October 2019.

David Dale Avenue, Stewarton

The regeneration of David Dale Avenue in Stewarton has seen tenement flats being replaced with 34 family sized homes ranging from two to four bedrooms.

These general needs houses have been delivered in response to a high demand area of Stewarton.

Tinto Avenue, Kilmarnock

The housing development is situated within the grounds of the former Bellfield Primary School in Kilmarnock.

The project delivered 67 new build social rented properties. This site was developed to reflect the high demand around the Bellfield area with general needs and community care needs properties.

There is mixture of two to four bedroom houses and bungalows.

Fraser Walk, Kilmarnock

This major development within the New Farm Loch area of Kilmarnock supported the regeneration of a popular location to provide 56 social rented properties.

The development offers a mixture of one to four bedroom general needs houses and two wheelchair accessible bungalows that reflects the large waiting list for this area.
