the main motorway between Scotland to England.
RAIL
The main railway station in East Ayrshire is in Kilmarnock. There are
also railway stations in New Cumnock, Auchinleck, Kilmaurs, Stewarton
and Dunlop.

SEA
In 1999 the SeaCat service was extended to operate between
Troon in Scotland and Belfast in N. Ireland. East Ayrshire is just 20
minutes drive from Troon and with a crossing time of 2 hours 30 minutes
the route offers convenience to motorists and day trippers.
